Facets
I cut flat glass into geometric shapes that fit together over a temporary structure to form a surface. The facets are then fused with epoxy where their edges meet to create a network of connecting lines and interstices. The glass can be transparent or opaque, and is angled to produce overlaid reflections of its own details. These works reference crystalline growth, architectural glass cladding, and topographical relief maps.
